View this post on Instagram A post shared by Goldfish Lim (@goldfishlim)
It is said that man walked the land, one day realising the impression they left behind on wet soil instilled an imagination that the moisturised sediments could be shaped and dried. On whether this occurred before or after the discovery of fire, I do not know. If it is to be of the former, I wonder if just by leaving it for dry would do any good. If not made a vessel, perhaps a decorated ornament of sorts. Did our ancestors only figured mud as functional storage after settling down, having enough of a nomadic pursue in certain regions? Hunters to store meat and fat, gatherers to preserve and ferment. I am getting ahead of myself here discussing clay from an anthropological approach. "Too wet cannot, too dry cannot. Too fast cannot, too slow cannot." , was a phrase I jokingly came up with while wedging on my second week of pottery apprenticeship. A crude phrase that I believe enc...
I recall the 'Dreamweaving' days. Learn it on notepad.exe, save it as index.html, upload onto a root server, pray it'll render on Internet Explorer as planned. Not forgetting the fake CSS stylesheet and lines by manually inserting HTML styling syntaxes to each page. Today, in the course of troubleshooting Blogspot's theme and page backends, the 'A.I.' compiler proved its efficiency in guiding codes. Well, given that we know the right questions. Else, provided that we learn to ask the right strings of questions. Its process leading to a desirable outcome despite missed attempts are rewarding, if ever compared to the manual research of resource browsing, filtering, and formulating. Yet we should be cautioned that learning via 'conversations' with 'A.I.' engines are better retained, only if questions were treated with curiosity instead of convenience (for which I am often guilty of ...
